HealthEdge Software Raising $3M Round

BURLINGTON, MA -- HealthEdge Software has raised $1.5 million of its planned $3 millionround of venture funding, according a regulatory filings.

The company's software, HealthRules, is an enterprise-level integrated package of applications that allows medical payors to manage care and benefits administration.  The software originally was developed by now-defunct deNovis, Inc., which was funded with $125 million from various venture investors.

Investors in the round included the Psilos Group, with Albert Waxman listed on the company's site as co-founder along with CEO Rob Gillette.
